Word of the Year: Create

As I was scrolling through emails, deleting most, and reading a few, I came across an email from the company from whom I order my yearly Christian Planner. The email asked if I had chosen my “Word of the Year.” In the email was a link to click named “Word Generator.” Knowing it was a safe resource, I clicked the link and tried the Word Generator. My word was “Create!”

How perfect! I usually ignore, or avoid, these kinds of games or tests on social media but this intrigued me, as I have been creating fiction stories for a few years now. Having published my first book, Into the Canyon, in 2023, and plans for publishing book 2 and 3 in 2024, I happily adopted this for my “Word of the Year.”

My word, Create, also included the scripture below, from Romans, chapter 12. God does give us each specific gifts. I love that. It keeps us all unique. I had never thought of the word “Create” or “Creative” to be associated with “Prophesying” but there truly is a connection. While serving in ministry over the past 30, or more years, I realized a gift in myself with prophesy. Gifts from God can only be given by the creator. How all these words intertwine amazes me and gives me goosebumps!

What will I do with my word? I will include it in my New Year’s Goals to continue to “Create” adventures and intrigue for the Kammer Family from Into the Canyon as their stories unfold in books 2 and 3.

Do you have a word for 2024? I would love to know what it is, and how you chose it!

A “Taste of Coaching” may be just enough to help you find your word. Let’s chat!

Create

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith.
